Child Stabbed in Breast
Morris Foreman, a 13-year-old schoolboy, who resides at 1415 East Baltimore street, was locked up at the Central Police Station yesterday on the charge of stabbing another boy in the breast.
The injured boy, Isadore Lesser, aged 13 years, of 1205 East Baltimore street, was taken to the Receiving Hospital and later removed to his home, where Dr. E. S. Atkinson dressed the wound.
It is alleged that Foreman and Lesser engaged in a fight near the intersection of Baltimore and Caroline streets. In the course of the struggle Foreman drew a knife and stabbed Lesser in the breast. A crowd of boys witnessed the affray and Foreman was arrested. He denied using the knife and declared that Lesser had struck him. He also said that the hurt will prove of no consequence.
Store Window Broken By Frightened Horse
Frightened by a passing electric car, a horse hitched to the bakery wagon of Charles E. Massey, of 1118 Asquith Street, became unmanageable and dashed into the window of the West Baltimore Street early this morning, breaking the glass of the Economy Credit Company at 916 West Baltimore Street.
One shaft of the wagon shattered the glass, but the horse was caught before it did any more damage.
ANTE-NUPTIAL AGREEMENT — Mrs. Falk Relinquishes Right to Her Future Husband’s Estate
An ante-nuptial agreement between Mr. Louis Buckner, of this city, and Mrs. Bella Falk, of New York, was filed for record yesterday in the Record Office of the Superior Court. It states that the couple are about to be married and that in consideration of one dollar and “other considerations,” Mrs. Falk agrees to:
- Waive all right to share in Mr. Buckner’s estate should he die intestate.
- Relinquish any right of dower in any property he may own or acquire during the marriage.
- Not contest or make claim against the estate or dispose of it without his consent.
The parties were expected to be married today in New York.
Mr. Buckner resides at 1530 East Baltimore Street and is aged 64. Mrs. Falk is widowed, 57 years of age.
Pioneer Club Dance
The Hebrew Pioneer Club gave a dance and entertainment to its members and friends at the clubhouse, 1724 East Baltimore Street, last Sunday evening.
The room was attractively decorated with bunting, while a hidden band furnished music from behind a wall of palms.
Mrs. Anna Apfeld recited two selections, which were well received, and a monologue was delivered by Miss Belle Goodman.

The second annual sacred concert by the Volunteer Band of the Hebrew Children’s Sheltering Home took place at the Maryland Theater last Sunday evening.
3,000 persons were present, and a delightful program was rendered by volunteer talent.
A string orchestra, under the direction of Prof. Jacob H. Buckner, was in attendance and rendered popular selections.
Mr. I. Heller, president of the society, delivered an address, outlining the work of the society and the responsibilities future workers would inherit.
A new playground has been installed by the society.
