Katherine Macdonald was born in 1850 in Calcutta, West Bengal, India, her father, James, was 34, and her mother, Catherine, was 31. She married Thomas Eggar (1849-1930) in January 1873 in London, London. They had three children during their marriage. She died on 15 July 1939 in Sussex at the age of 89, and was buried in Bentley, Hampshire. Read more here.
